Histopathology Medium
Histopathology / Biopsy is a study of tissues removed from organs & parts of the body. First the tissue is studied under a naked eye to look for any visible abnormalities & then processed to study in greater detail under the microscope to arrive at a final diagnosis. This test studies medium sized tissues removed by operation from various organs like breast, lymph nodes, ovaries, gall bladder, prostate gland, spinal cord, brain etc.
