HISTOPATHOLOGY
Histopathology / Biopsy is a study of tissues removed from organs & parts of the body. First the tissue is studied under a naked eye to look for any visible abnormalities & then processed to study in greater detail under the microscope to arrive at a final diagnosis. This test studies large tissues removed by operation from various organs like kidneys, uterus, ovaries, thyroid, testes, lymph nodes, eyeball etc.
