Body fluids are collections of fluids in body cavities, around organs & in joint spaces. Normally this fluid is in very small quantities but this quantity increases due to infections, cancers, tuberculosis etc. This fluid is removed through a needle from your body & tested for biochemical analysis and microscopy. Fluids rich in proteins are called exudates while others are called transudates.
