Anti-thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies (TPO) Test
Thyroid is a small butterfly shaped gland in your neck which regulates multiple processes in your body. This test detects the presence of one type of antibody directed towards one’s own thyroid gland resulting in Autoimmune thyroiditis. Ideally both types of antibodies should be tested together.
